Fifa 19: PlayStation Store down as gamers scramble to download demo for eagerly-anticipated release

FANS have taken to Twitter to vent after the PlayStation Store crashed after hoards of gamers logged on to download the Fifa 19 demo.

The online shop crashed as hoards of excited fans swarmed in a bid to get their hands on the sneak peak as soon as possible.

Gamers on Xbox also reported issues trying to get their hands on the 3pm release – with some saying it failed to show up.

The full version of Fifa 19 is released on September 28, but keen fans were eager to have a crack at the demo after it was due to drop.

However, very few have managed to even start – with the few who managed to start the download waiting forever for the 10GB download to finish.

It's now only two weeks until the full game is released.
