LEEDS United trolled ex-1D star Niall Horan in a hilarious twitter exchange.

On a night when the Whites defeated bottom side Ipswich 2-0, the club's official twitter account swapped barbs with the Slow Hands singer.

It kicked off after Niall, 25, tweeted that Derby County were "a dream to watch play".

MC Crossy replied asking him to comment on Leeds Utd, but Niall hit back: "no one likes Leeds".

The Yorkshire team weren't having any of it.

They replied "No one likes your solo career #BringBack1D."

It's Fleetwood Mac inspired folk edge was too much for his adoring pop audience.

The hilarious come-back sparked hysteria on twitter.

One person wrote: "Leeds United… That's savage!"

Another added: "Who is on this account? GIVE THEM A RAISE."

Others jumped to the singer's defence.

A fan posted: "No one likes y’all, try again next time hun.
