WORLD champion Marc Marquez insists that his amazing MotoGP form will have to come to an end some time.

Honda's Marquez seized his fifth title in Japan with three races to spare, having amassed an unassailable points advantage over closest rival Andrea Dovizioso.

But the Spaniard said: "I don’t think about the future or the past; I focus on the present. Next year I will have pressure to win and the desire to win.

"Not letting your guard down is easy – you only have to think about 2015, when we’d just won 13 races in the previous year and we started the year understanding nothing.

"I get the impression that people think winning is easy, but it never is. Bad moments will come, that’s for sure, anyone who has been a sportsperson knows it."

When and where is MotoGP Australia?

Race day is Sunday, October 28 at Phillip Island.

It will commence at 5am UK time.

Marquez is on pole with qualifying having taken place at 6.10am on Saturday.

BT Sport 2 will show Moto GP Australia 2018 live from 4.30am on Sunday, October 28.

Coverage of the warm-ups and Moto2 commences at 12.30am.
