Diaby joins Sporting CP from Club Brugge
Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon have confirmed the signing of Malian striker Abdoulaye Diaby from Belgian champions Club Brugge on a five-year deal.
Following a successful spell with Club Brugge laced with two league titles in three seasons, Diaby has joined Sporting Lisbon who have attached a €60 million buyout clause on him.
Everton await further bids for Lookman
Everton are awaiting further bids for winger Ademola Lookman despite having rejected RB Leipzig’s advances throughout the summer.
The Toffees’ director of football Marcel Brands and manager Marco Silva have remained steadfast in their refusal to sell, with Leipzig’s latest offer of £22 million ($28.3m) – an amount which would have broken their transfer record – rejected by the Goodison Park outfit.
Barca and Juventus target Sarr rules out summer exit
Rennes star Ismaila Sarr has ruled out a move to Barcelona, Juventus or the English Premier League this summer.

Marco Silva wants the 20-year-old to fight for his place at the Goodison Park after spending the second part of the 2017-18 season on loan in the German Bundesliga club.
Middlesbrough in talks over Bolasie loan
Middlesbrough are in talks with Everton winger Yannick Bolasie over a season-long loan, SkySports reports.
The DR Congo international travelled to Teesside yesterday and had a face-to-face conversation with Tony Pulis at the club’s training ground today.
Bolasie joined the Toffees joined Crystal Palace in 2016 but suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury which kept him out for more than a year

Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea are monitoring the progress of Guinea-Bissau born Ronaldo Camara at Benfica, reports Mirror .
Camara joined Benfica from Sporting Lisbon in 2015 and starred in the ALKASS International Cup in January despite being two years younger than the majority of his teammates.
The 15-year-old, eligible to feature for Guinea-Bissau at the international level, has represented Portugal at the u17 level.

‘Mendyl almost joined Arsenal before Schalke move’
Arsenal almost signed defender Hamza Mendyl from Lille in the summer, only for work permit problems to scupper the deal, it has been revealed.
The Morocco international joined Schalke from the French club on Friday and the Bundesliga club’s sporting director, Christian Heidel, insists that paperwork problems are all that stopped the transfer to the Emirates Stadium.

Porto are unwilling to let Yacine Brahimi leave unless they receive “a very big offer”, RMC Sport claims.
The Algerian winger has been linked with a move to Monaco following the exit of Keita Balde to Inter Milan.
