Timberwolves guard Andrew Wiggins is not taking Stephen Jackson’s comments lying down.
Jackson, a commentator for Fox Sports, posted an Instagram video saying Wiggins should have responded to an Instagram post by Jimmy Butler which took a shot at Wiggins’ brother by saying the former Bulls player had a lot of heart and, “I ain’t got no heart.”

Jackson then replied to Wiggins’ reply.
“I hope you have a good year,” he said on Instagram. “I hope some way you can find some heart, have a good year, I really wish you the best. Old? I’m 40, thank God I’m happy to see 40. Bum? I ain’t never been that, you know that.
“I’m from the old school bruh, I come from the old law, you know what I’m sayin? Respect the check, all that ‘I’m going to have the same energy wherever I go’ all that, hey man, make sure your energy stay when you see me bruh, you know where I am, make sure your energy straight, just focus on having some heart and having a good year.”
Jimmy Butler asked to be traded to one of three teams Tuesday: the Clippers, Nets or Knicks. According to ESPN, Butler prefers the Clippers. Wiggins remains signed with the Timberwolves through 2023.
