Cech stayed on the floor and was seen to by medics before gingerly walking off.

Bernd Leno came on as his replacement with the game goalless.

Cech had been clattered by Christian Kabasele earlier on while bravely coming out for a corner.

Watford striker Troy Deeney then caught him on the ground while going for a loose ball.

He was able to play on but minutes later had his day ended through a goal kick.
