ARSENAL boss Unai Emery has already begun moulding the Gunners squad ahead of his first season at the Emirates Stadium.

While he has declared that his business is all-but done in this transfer window, it has not quietened the rumour mill.

Emery made his moves early, signing Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free before acquiring a new number one goalkeeper in Bernd Leno.

They were soon followed by Uruguay ace Lucas Torreira, no-nonsense defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and youngster Matteo Guendouzi.

CHUBA AKPOM is reportedly set to end his Arsenal hell with Greek side PAOK closing in a permanent deal for the striker.

The 22-year-old has made just 12 appearances for the Gunners since making his debut in 2013, and has been shipped off on loan on six occasions.

But it has been claimed that the Super League giants are prepared to offer him a lifeline in Greece to kick start his career.

MATT MACEY has joined League One outfit Plymouth Argyle on a season-long loan.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper has been knocked further down the pecking order by Leno, after making just two senior appearances last season.
