Atletico Madrid complete £63m Thomas Lemar signing and tie Antoine Griezmann to new five-year deal

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN has officially signed his Atletico Madrid extension as France team-mate Thomas Lemar arrived in £63million deal.

Fellow French international Lucas Hernandez has also agreed fresh terms until 2024 with the La Liga outfit, who have completed a triple swoop.

CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin was given permission to visit Les Bleus in Russian town of Istria by boss Didier Deschamps.

And he delighted fans by bringing in Lemar, as well as keeping hold of Griezmann and Hernandez.

Griezmann, 27, released a bizarre video on June 14 in which he eventually confirmed he would snub Barcelona.

Spanish TV station Movistar+ aired a documentary which followed his decision-making process throughout the season.

But the Frenchman's announcement was ridiculed in some quarters, wit many claiming it wreaked of self importance.
