British MotoGP practice: Live stream, what TV channel and start time for Silverstone grand prix race

MOTOGP heads to Silverstone as Marc Marquez looks to get back to winning ways with fellow Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo the shock victor in Austria.

When is the British MotoGP?

The British GP takes place on Sunday, August 26.

It will begin at 1pm UK time.

Before that, Moto3 will take place at 11.20am and Moto2 following at 2.30pm.

The race weekend begins on Friday, August 24 with practice one at 9.55am and practice two at 2.05pm.

Practice three then takes place at 9.55am on Saturday, August 25 before practice three at 1.30pm followed by qualifying at 2.10pm.

The action will take place at the legendary Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire.

What TV channel is the British MotoGP on and can I live stream it?

The MotoGP race weekend will be live from Silverstone on BT Sport 2.

Friday's coverage begins at 8.45am, with Saturday starting at 9am and race day coverage beginning at 8.45am on Sunday with the warm-ups.

Each day's TV coverage on BT Sport will take in MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3.
