Chelsea handed boost in chase for Juventus ace Alex Sandro as he reveals he wants to play in Premier League

ALEX SANDRO has alerted Chelsea by claiming he wants to play in the Premier League.

The Juventus star, 27, has been at the Serie A giants since signing from Porto in 2016.

And the Brazilian has been training in Milton Keynes with the Samba Boys ahead of tonight's friendly with Cameroon at Stadium MK.

Sandro was initially keen to link up with former boss Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, but the Italian has now been replaced by Maurizio Sarri.

The right-back said: "I think, one day, who knows what will happen?

"I have a desire to play in the Premier League but right now I am very happy where I am at, the club I am at [Juventus], the league I am playing in.

"So today my only thought is to continue where I am because that's where I feel happy."

Sandro and Brazil take on the African side in the UK in the second game of their stint in Blighty.

They beat Uruguay 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night after Neymar bagged a penalty.

The former Santos man has made 130 appearances for Juve since landing in 2016, but was dropped by Tite for Brazil's World Cup campaign, along with Liverpool new boy Fabinho.

It would be questionable how much Sandro would play at Chelsea, given they have reliable and classy full-backs in Cesar Azpilicueta on the right and Marcos Alonso on the left.
