CHRIS FROOME has posted a worrying image of a mangled Team Sky bike after claiming he was deliberately "rammed on purpose by an impatient driver" in an obvious hit-and-run smash.

The three-time Tour de France winner was out on a coaching experience when the alleged incident occurred.

Froome tweeted an image of his wrecked Pinarello Dogma F10, that may value upwards of £10,000.
