Justin Rose is off to a great start at the Dell Technologies Championship at TPC Boston as he shot a 6-under 65 to take the solo lead after the first round.
The No. 4 player in the world made six birdies to no bogeys Friday in the four-day event ending Monday.
As well as Rose played, the rest of the field is not far behind as 15 players sit within two shots of the lead.
Abraham Ancer and Russell Knox are tied for second after shooting 5-under 66.
Gary Woodland, Keegan Bradley, Beau Hossler and Chris Kirk all sit one stroke back at 4 under.
Tiger Woods felt good with his new putter but didn’t see results on the course as he finished with a 1-over 72.
