Dez Bryant is taking his time before he joins another NFL team.

The former cowboys receiver is looking to win a Super Bowl immediately, not help build a team within the next few seasons, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

“He’s being choosy, wants to be with a team that of course can win right away,” Rapoport said Monday. “And the kind of team that can compete for championships and, from what it sounds like, this is a guy who is willing to wait. And we know that because he’s still waiting, so it is quiet … Dez Bryant could be one of those guys who waits around and in the event of some injury to a top receiver maybe he gets a call and the kind of deal that he’s been waiting for.”

It seems like the easiest way for Bryant to get his wish is if a high-end receiver goes down and he is signed to that team. One possibility is the Patriots, since Julian Edelman is suspended for the first four games of the season.

Another option is if the Falcons bring him on due to Julio Jones’ ongoing holdout over his contract.

Aside from that, most top-tier teams are solid with its receiving corps. Bryant likely won’t receive a call until the season is about to start, which means he will have to adjust fast to his new teammates.
