Former Chelsea captain John Terry back at Cobham as he trains alongside Ethan Ampadu and Karen Carney

CHELSEA legend John Terry was back in the Blues kit yet again as he returned to the Cobham training ground.

The 37-year-old posted a video on Instagram of him training alongside teenage starlet Ethan Ampadu and Chelsea Women's winger Karen Carney.

The ex-Nottingham Forest loanee posted a collection of snaps to his social media account as he was put through his paces.

He captioned his post: “Great training session with Jon Fearn (Chelsea physiotherapist), Ethan Ampadu, Karen Carney today at Chelsea.”

Terry left Stamford Bridge in 2017, and his departure in the side was clearly felt last season as the West London side finished outside of the Champions League places.

But any hopes of the former England international signing a short-term deal remains unlikely, as he looks to just be keeping fit ahead of the new season.

The five-time Premier League winner is a free agent after leaving Aston Villa after just one campaign – failing to help the Villans return to the top-flight.

He featured 36 times under Steve Bruce as the 2015 FA Cup runners-up as Villa lost in the Championship play-off final against Fulham.

But Terry could have a chance at Championship glory once again with Derby reportedly interested in the veteran defender.

Former team-mate Frank Lampard is targeting a reunion with Terry at Pride Park should Rams skipper Curtis Davies leaves this summer.
