Odell Beckham Jr. appears to be progressing well from an ankle injury that ended his 2017 season in Week 5.

Beckham ran a few routes and worked with quarterback Eli Manning during the Giants minicamp. Manning shared an encouraging update on the Giants star wideout.

“He looks great,” Manning said Friday, per NFL.com. “He looks healthy.”

Manning went on to explain how hard last season was for Beckham and how he’s looking forward to the new season.

“I think last year it was tough on him being injured and going through those things,” Manning said. “He wants to come out and have a big year, play well and get to scoring touchdowns and celebrating and having fun again. I think he misses that part of his life — the excitement of playing football and winning games, and enjoying that part of it.”

From 2014 to 2016, Beckham posted three straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons and scored 35 touchdowns.

Beckham recently told reporters that he would attend the team’s mandatory training camp next month, but reports have since surfaced that the wide receiver is apparently still mulling a holdout if contract negotiations with the team continue to lag.
