JOSEPH PARKER wants to destroy Dillian Whyte to secure an Anthony Joshua rematch — and a new pair of shoes.

The Kiwi, 26, lost his WBO heavyweight title to AJ in March, but the £6million he banked helped him add to his modest footwear collection.

Whyte was beaten by Joshua in 2015 and the winner of tomorrow night’s O2 battle will be perfectly placed for a rematch, if Deontay Wilder ducks the April 13 Wembley date AJ has booked.

Dreaming of a rematch in his new Gucci trainers, Parker said: “I feel an impressive victory could get that fight.

“I said I wanted to hurt people from now on and I really mean that, we are in the hurt business.

"I want to go out and smash his body and head — whoever lands the cleanest shot should get the knock-out.”

The Samoan added: “Am I a lot richer since the AJ fight? Maybe I have better shoes.

"I have five pairs at the moment because I give them all away.

“My family members come over to hang out and the next thing they are walking out with them on!”

Should Parker beat Whyte, his promoter David Higgins would be £20,000 richer after making a bet with Whyte's promoter Eddie Hearn that the New Zealand ace will beat him.
