The Mariners were reportedly involved in a pre-game altercation with each other.

According to the Seattle Times, Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon asked reporters to leave the locker room and a skirmish broke out a few minutes later.

It is unclear who was involved.

Manager Scott Servais was on the field at the time of the incident and told reporters he was trying to find out more details.

Seattle is currently in a battle for the second wild-card spot in the American League.

The team is 5 1/2 games behind the Athletics for the spot. They are also eight games behind the Astros for the top spot in the AL West.
