The Rangers have added a reliever.
Texas has agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million contract with reliever Shawn Kelley, according to a report from MLB.com. The deal includes a team option for 2020, the report says.

Kelley was sent from the Nationals to the Athletics in early August. He tallied a 2-0 record and a 2.94 ERA in 54 total appearances last season.
The 34-year-old right hander has also pitched for the Mariners, Yankees and Padres over his 10-year career.
The Rangers finished 2018 with a 67-95 record and missed the playoffs for a second straight season.
