Alex Rins finished second and Maverick Vinales third as the Spaniards recorded a podium sweep in Holland.

Rins and Marquez accidentally came together earlier in the race though, but the defending champ managed to stay on his bike.

Eight riders managed to form a leading group towards the business end of the race, but it was Marquez who managed to take command at the perfect moment to charge for victory.

Honda ace Marquez started on pole and now leads the championship race by 41 points.
