Mystics star Elena Delle Donne suffered a knee injury against the Dream in Game 2 of the WNBA semifinals Tuesday.
Delle Donne finished with a game-high 27 points in the Mystics’ 78-75 loss.

Delle Donne said she’s hopeful to return for Friday’s game.
“I’m walking,” Delle Donne said (via ESPN). “The swelling isn’t terrible. I’ll go home tomorrow and see our doctors, and see what they say.”

Delle Donne was driving to the basket late in the fourth quarter of the back-and-forth game when her knee buckled. She later had to be helped off the court.
Washington won the first game in Atlanta, 87-84, where the five-time WNBA All-Star had another game-high performance of 32 points.
The Mystics will return home to host the next two games in the best-of-five series.
