Martin Truex Jr. was victorious at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 on Sunday at the Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, Calif., good for his third victory of the season.

Truex cruised past the rest of the field and was 20 seconds ahead of Kevin Harvick, the defending champion and runner-up.

The first of three Monster Energy Cup Series races that will take place on a road course this season (including the ROVAL at Charlotte) went to Truex, who didn’t have a pit stop until the 81st lap.

Sunday’s race at Sonoma also marked the end of Fox’s Cup Series coverage for the season; NBC will pick up coverage next week in Chicago and broadcast all the remaining Cup races.
