Former Duke star Marvin Bagley III is about to sign a massive shoe deal.
According to The Athletic, Bagley is expected to sign a deal with Puma which would be the largest a player has signed since Kevin Durant’s with Nike.

Durant’s initial deal with Nike was for seven years, $60 million. His second could be worth up to $300 million over 10 years.
This would be the first NBA player Puma has signed since Vince Carter in 1998. Carter stopped wearing the shoes at the time because they were uncomfortable for his feet.
He never developed a signature shoe with the company and eventually left it and was sued for breach of contract. Puma ultimately received $13.5 million from Carter.
Puma reportedly was targeting Oklahoma’s Trae Young as the new face of their brand, according to ESPN.
It is unclear if Bagley will be the new face, or if both would be signed up.
Both players are seen at top-10 prospects, but the consensus is Bagley will be the higher of the two selections and is likely to go in the top three.
