The Pelicans could be interested in adding a point guard.
New Orleans worked out Ty Lawson this week, according to a report from USA Today’s HoopsHype. The Pelicans also met with Tyrone Wallace, the report says.

The 30-year-old Lawson spent much of 2017-18 playing in the Chinese Basketball Association. But, he signed a contract with the Wizards in mid-April and averaged 5.8 points in five playoff appearances.
Lawson, who has dealt with off-the-court issues throughout his nine-year career, spent his first six NBA seasons with the Nuggets. He has also played for the Rockets, Pacers and Kings.
Lawson has averaged 12.7 points and six assists in 551 career NBA games.
Wallace tallied 9.7 points in 30 appearances as a rookie with the Clippers last season.
The Pelicans currently have point guards Jrue Holiday, Elfrid Payton and Frank Jackson on their roster.
