The Jets are meeting with a pair of running backs this weekend.
New York is visiting with Alfred Morris and Orleans Darkwa on Saturday, according to reports from The NFL Network and ESPN. Jets running back Elijah McGuire reportedly fractured his foot recently and will be out indefinitely.
Free agent RB Alfred Morris has just walked into the #Jets building for a visit, source said. With the #Cowboys last year, Morris averaged 4.8 yards per rush. A possible intriguing option.

Free agent running back Orleans Darkwa is visiting with the Jets today, per source. He’s schedule to meet with the Colts next. Darkwa led the #Giants with 751 yards and a strong 4.4 ypc last season. Would be solid summer pickup.

Morris, a six-year NFL veteran, spent the last two seasons with the Cowboys. He rushed for 547 yards and one touchdown in 2017.
Darkwa has registered 246 carries and rushed for 1,038 yards over his four-year career with the Giants and Dolphins. The 26-year-old back reportedly worked out with the Bills this week.
The Jets currently have veteran running backs Isaiah Crowell, Bilal Powell and Thomas Rawls on their roster.
