George Iloka is headed to Minnesota.
After drawing serious interest from the Raiders and Cowboys this week, the free-agent safety is expected to sign with the Vikings, NFL Media reported.
The Bengals released Iloka on Sunday in what was deemed “purely a financial decision” after he served as a five-year starter. He would have been due $5.3 million this season after re-signing with Cincinnati on a five-year deal ahead of the 2016 season.
Iloka, 28, was selected by the Bengals in the fifth round of the 2012 draft and has started every game he’s played in since 2013. He logged 80 tackles and an interception last season.
