Manny Machado is headed to Los Angeles.
The Orioles star has been notified that he will be traded to the Dodgers for a package of prospects, Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal reported Wednesday.
The Dodgers made the news official later Wednesday, confirming Machado was acquired in exchange for Rylan Bannon, Yusniel Díaz, Dean Kremer, Zach Pop and Breyvic Valera.

Machado started at shortstop for the American League in Tuesday’s All-Star Game and all but confirmed he was being traded. The four-time All-Star is batting .315 with 24 home runs and 65 RBIs in 96 games.
Machado, 26, is still owed about $6.3 million for the remainder of the year and is set to become a free agent after this season.
