Osijek vs Rangers: TV channel, live stream, kick off time and team news for Europa League clash

RANGERS are off to Croatia for a second round Europa League qualifying clash with little-known NK Osijek.

Whether Osijek provide stiffer opponents for Steven Gerrard's team than first round Macedonian challengers FK Shkupi remains to be seen.

The Stadion Gradski vrt has a capacity of 19,220 and is shared with local side VNO Osijek.

As opposed to one-team Liverpool stalwart Gerrard, Osijek manager Zoran Zekic played for 19 sides, including Maccabi Haifa, Dinamo Zagreb and Rijeka.

Last season Osijek were up against Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven for a place in the Europa League play-off and happily won both legs 1-0.

Then they just missed out on a place in the group stage after drawing 2-2 with Austria Vienna and bowing out on away goals.

Gerrard will note that St Johnstone played Osijek in their first pre-season run out a few weeks ago – and lost 3-0.

As it stands, there are no plans for the match to be shown on TV.

If you are outside of the UK and Ireland, you can watch the game on Rangers TV – you can find out more HERE.

Of course, you can also follow the action on SunSport's Live BLOG.

Gerrard has admitted that Scott Arfield could miss the trip to Croatia.

The former Burnley midfielder missed Gers’ second-leg clash in Macedonia with a knee knock.

Declan John also missed the clash, but Gerrard has confirmed that he should travel after recovering from a back problem.

Lee Wallace, Graham Dorrans and Jordan Rossiter will all miss out.

The home side will rely on some more than useful attackers.

Target man Mirko Maric has two full caps for Croatia to his name and scored seven times for Osijek last season after moving from Videoton.

Wide players Gabriel Boban and Petar Bockaj, up against James Tavernier and Jon Flanagan, both like to chip in with a goal.
