Only two of his picks with Ladbrokes were longer odds than evens.

But he managed to steer clear of an upset as Blackpool’s James Cahill stunned the home favourite Liang Wenbo by beating him 5-1.

It meant scooping an incredible £100,124.82.

All the a favourites came through on his slip, with the likes of Marco Fu, Stephen Maguire, Ali Carter and Barry Hawkins doing the business.

The punter picked Welsh potter Jamie Jones to beat Zhou Yuelong at evens.

He also picked Fergal O'Brien to beat Zhao Xintong at 11/8 and Jak Jones to get the better of Zhang Anda at 8/5.

Ding Junhui is the defending champion for the ranking event in Yushan, with £150,000 going to this year's winner.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “This is the biggest snooker accumulator win we’ve ever seen placed on a BetStation.

"Predicting the wins of 15 games has sent our traders snooker loopy, but we can only applaud this gentleman’s belief.”
