Oakland rescinded its offer to rent out the Coliseum for their 2019 home games on Dec. 12 after the city filed a lawsuit one day before alleging the NFL’s relocation process was illegal.
The Raiders are scheduled to move to Las Vegas in 2020.
Oakland is seeking compensation for the Raiders’ departure.
There have also been rumors the Raiders could play for one year in Reno or San Diego before moving to Las Vegas.
The Raiders have played in San Francisco before, as they spent their first season at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco and their second year at Candlestick Park.
