The Texans are keeping linebacker Benardrick McKinney around for a while.
According to NFL Media, Houston has signed the 2015 second-round pick to a five-year extension worth $50 million.

He will get $21 million guaranteed.
McKinney had one year left on his four-year, $5.35 million rookie deal.
The 25-year-old led the Texans in solo (62) and total tackles (95) in 2017. He has led the team each of the last two years in tackles totaling 129 in 2016.
Houston has not announced the terms of the deal as of yet, but they did announce the extension.
