SOCIETY QUEEN went close on her debut at Catterick last time, being beaten a neck with a long way back to the third horse home.
That was over 5f and she gives the strong impression that this longer distance will suit.
SHE’S PUKKA got tired in testing ground at Wetherby on her comeback from six months off last time and should be a lot fitter today.
This trip suits well and she wouldn’t have to improve much to get off the mark.
STAR CRACKER managed to finish first of the badly drawn horses here last time and has good form over this trip.
He was knocking on the door before that latest effort and looks on a fair handicap mark.
ORIENTAL LILLY was snookered by the draw at Musselburgh last time and is better judged on her third here two starts ago when she was beaten by just over a length.
Her best form has come over this trip and she’s just 2lb higher than her last winning mark, which gives her a chance.
OUR CHARLIE BROWN was unlucky at Catterick last time. He had to settle for a close-up fourth after meeting plenty of trouble in running.
He was going like the winner before being blocked and this race doesn’t look any tougher. He’s off the same mark again so should go close.
INGLEBY HOLLOW is a consistent performer at this level and he’s having another good season with two seconds and a win since switching back to the Flat.
He finished strongly over 1m4f at Doncaster last time but this longer distance is more suitable.
BERLIOS has been knocking on the door and was beaten by just a head when fourth at Hamilton last time out.
That was over this trip and he goes off the same mark again today, which gives him every chance.
