The Leopard Honda rider pulled out a last lap three bike slipstream to win.

He started from pole before settling into the chasing pack as Jorge Martin and Tatsuki Suzuki broke clear at the front.

Martin was leading when he slipped off the track and into the gravel late in the race before the chasers managed to bring Suzuki back into the group.

Italian Bastianini then took advantage of the slipstream at the beginning of the final lap as he claimed victory by just 0.167seconds.
