LeBron James made his first appearance as an official Laker on Sunday as he attended a Las Vegas Summer League game and it appears Lakers fans are excited to have him in Los Angeles.

The four-time MVP received a warm standing ovation as he walked into the Thomas & Mack Center minutes before tipoff.

Take a look at the reaction to James’ surprise appearance in Vegas:

James went on the court and gave Lakers guard Josh Hart a hug before taking a seat courtside.

He was joined by new-teammate Brandon Ingram as the two watched the Summer League quarterfinals as the Lakers faced the Pistons.

James signed a 4-year, $153 million deal with Los Angeles earlier this month.
