White Sox center fielder Adam Engel is making the seemingly impossible look extremely routine.

Sunday, the defensive wizard robbed the Indians’ Yonder Alonso of a three-run homer, the third time in a week he’s snatched a potential home run from beyond the fence.

The White Sox ended up losing, 9-7, but you can’t blame Engel, who in addition to the spectacular catch had a home run and three RBIs.

Sunday’s defensive gem shared the same traits as Engel’s other two thefts; he showed a great sense of timing, and an impressive vertical leap.

On Monday, Engel robbed the Yankees’ Greg Bird of a three-run shot.

The next night he took a sure homer away from New York’s Kyle Higashioka.

Who knows what tomorrow might bring for the second-year player?
