Paul Pogba has received his fair share of criticism throughout his career, and that clearly has not sat well with former French national team player, Patrice Evra.
When Pogba, the current Manchester United star, scored in the World Cup final, Evra had an immediate message for Pogba’s doubters and dissenters (warning: strong language ahead)

Whether it’s been for his haircut, his “lazy defense,” or his lack of goal-scoring, critics have always had a bone to pick with Pogba.
It certainly didn’t help that the midfielder had no goals or assists entering the final.
But in the face of all that adversity, he stood tall on international soccer’s biggest stage and scored this absolute beauty.

That goal established a two-goal lead for Les Bleus, and put it out of reach from the hands of the Croatians.
Even if pundits decide to keep nitpicking at one of the most talented players in the world, they’ll never be able to take away this World Cup victory from him.
And if the critics won’t let up, Evra will be there with two words: RESPECT HIM.
